Robert Kerstetter serves as a trusted creative advisor to highly-ethical nonprofits and a few passionate individuals. Prior to this, Robert was a writer and creative director helping shape some of the world’s most iconic brands. Porsche. Yahoo. Got Milk? Sega. Finlandia. Eddie Bauer. Budweiser. Norwegian Cruise Line. MTV and Major League Baseball. Robert also created the Foster Farms Chickens, the disheveled west coast chicken puppets who drive around harassing folks from their crappy car. Back in 1996, before the internet was the internet, Robert helped introduce the world to the iconic Yahoo! brand. In 2001, Robert surprised the advertising industry by winning The Director’s Guild Award. A first for a copywriter directing commercials as a side hustle. Wishing to share the credit, he cut the award into tiny pieces and gave a chunk to everyone who worked on the project. After hearing about this, The Director’s Guild kicked him out for “defacing” the award. This was the moment Robert decided he was done with advertising. Robert is currently writing modern literary fiction, unpretentious poetry and unique children’s books. He’s also working on ideas to help save the world. (Really.)
